McDonald's Readies Multi-City Tour, Parking Lot Venues

McDonald's is now readying a ten-city, US-based tour, according to early information floating on the internet. The company is starting the tour on Thursday, July 26th, in Venice Beach, and will soon shift the action to other major metropolitan areas. The Venice event will feature Ne-Yo and emerging artist Kenna, and will take place in a local recreation center. Pre-event teaser information on mcdlive.com noted that all shows will be free-of-charge and held on weekdays, and most dates are being staged in McDonald's parking lots. Attendees are being admitted on a first-come, first-served basis, an egalitarian approach designed to tie the fast food giant with summertime fun. Online, fans will be able to nominate their favorite artists for inclusion in an upcoming McDonald's advertisement.
